Wicked Kettle Kafe is a woman–owned café in the Bay Area that celebrates the authentic chai and coffee traditions of India — not just in flavor, but in spirit.
Our brews are sourced directly from plantations across India, from the misty hills of Coorg to the tea estates of Darjeeling, capturing the soul of each region in every pour.
WKK brings together heritage and modernity — where the warmth of Indian hospitality meets California’s café culture. Here, every cup tells a story: of craftsmanship, community, and connection. Because at Wicked Kettle Kafe, chai and coffee are not just beverages — they are a celebration of India’s heart and soul, served with contemporary flair.

From the heart of India to the heart of California
Growing up as a fauji (army) kid, I lived across India — from the snow-lined valleys of Kashmir to the sun-drenched coasts of Kerala. Each place had its own way of brewing warmth — a pink noon chai in the north, a tangy lembu cha in Bengal, a spiced sulemani chai in Hyderabad, or a fragrant filter coffee down south.
Those flavors became my map of India — each cup, a story of the people and places that shaped me. I realized that chai and coffee run through the heart and soul of our country, bringing communities together no matter how far apart we are.
Wicked Kettle Kafe is my way of bringing that piece of India to my new home in California — an invitation to slow down, sip, and connect over something familiar yet new.
Every brew we serve carries a story — one that begins in India, and continues with you.
